No birds. Cat killed them all.
Perfect stillness of
slightly shaking tree.
Coffee interrupts.
Money & energy
& commission.
Look at the not-
roses. They’re white &
look like roses. Grass is cut by mow.
Maw.
Meow. Cat’s back & chasing butterflies.
Violent image. Butterflies
are beautiful. She hunts moths at night
& they’re not beautiful but she
doesn’t see the difference
between these objects.
